Joe – Case Study

Joe was no beginner when it came to the gym. He had trained for years and stayed consistent and actually convinced himself it wasn’t possible for him to put on muscle and that he needed to change his expectations.

Then be met me and I convinced him otherwise. Joes issue hadn’t been consistency and it was actually his food choices. Joe’s issue was intensity and volume.

He had spent a lot of time training in a bro split and training individual muscles on separate days. We reduced the number of exercises per muscle he was doing, increased the intensity he trained those exercises with and increased the amount of times per week he trained them.

We also increased the amount of food he was eating as he needed more calories to grow and as his body changed we adjusted what was necessary. We also did this with his training and adjusted what area was focused on based on how his body was responding to the program so we could target lagging areas.

Joe finally achieved the goal he’d been working towards for years all he needed was guidance to focus on what was important and stop wasting his time with the things that weren’t.
